Nesta Fitzgerald is a freelance illustrator living in Dublin, Ireland. After completing a degree in Art History she went on to do a Masters in Illustration at Kingston University and also completed the one year post grad course at the Royal Drawing School, London. From her love of drawing she has produced illustrations for the British Embassy in Paris, Chiswick House, London, Tullynally Castle Ireland, Selfridges department store, London, The Crawford Art Gallery, Ireland, The Hunt Museum, Ireland, The Irish Georgian Society, Dublin, Adams Art Auctioneers Dublin, Waddeston Manor, Glin Castle, Ballyfin hotel, and Troy Asset Management offices in London and Edinburgh. She has contributed illustration work to the Oldie Magazine and the Gloss magazine. She has published three books under the Irish Georgian Society and Churchill House Press and has exhibited her prints at Hartnoll and Daughter Gallery, London, Browse and Darby Gallery, London, Laura Lopes, Wiltshire, Gallery 29 and has recently had two solo exhibitions at the Irish Georgian Society’s headquarters in the city assembly house Dublin. Her latest exhibition in August 2024 titled: ‘Dublin Facades’ was part of Ireland’s National Heritage Week. Nesta creates bespoke artwork for clients for any kind of celebration: birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas cards, engagements, wedding stationary and fine art prints. Her work is also printed on mugs, tea-towels and stationary.
